TOPOSOPHY, in collaboration with the Greek National Tourism Organization and Mastercard®, proudly unveils "Sustainable Greece" a strategic initiative featuring 10 curated sustainable travel experiences designed to extend the tourism season and promote year-round visitation. This program highlights carefully selected, unspoiled destinations that offer unique experiences without being overcrowded, fostering economic growth in local communities and preserving Greece's cultural heritage.
About the Campaign

Highlighting 10 carefully selected destinations and unique experiences, the campaign showcases Greece’s commitment to sustainable travel by focusing on environmentally friendly activities and supporting the local economy. The innovative "Tourism Pledge" application encourages active participation in preserving Greece’s precious destinations.

By engaging travelers with local traditions, crafts, and culinary practices, "Sustainable Greece" ensures that tourism benefits reach the local level, promoting social sustainability. This initiative aims to reduce the environmental impact of tourism, protecting Greece's natural and cultural assets, and putting Greece on the map as a sustainable travel option for global travelers, inviting them to participate in a movement that values and protects the essence of Greece for years to come.

The campaign is supported by a micro-website under the main visitgreece.gr portal, ensuring brand consistency.

What we did

Over an intensive 8-month period, we developed and executed a holistic campaign plan, ensuring seamless coordination across client accounts and project oversight. Our efforts began with extensive global benchmarking to inform the overarching campaign concept. We then adapted the creative framework, refining core visuals and compelling copy to resonate with our target audience.

Our team conceptualized, briefed, and managed the implementation of 10 unique sustainable experiences across selected destinations in Greece. Each experience was crafted to captivate visitors while promoting sustainable tourism practices.

To amplify our message, we crafted a comprehensive digital media plan, ensuring broad reach and high engagement across diverse platforms. As part of this strategy, we meticulously designed and developed sustainability.visitgreece.gr

This included creating engaging design templates, setting up analytics for user insights, and ensuring seamless hosting. Each of the 10 unique sustainable experiences was showcased with dedicated pages featuring captivating images, while a streamlined booking platform facilitates easy reservations.

The campaign will conclude in September 2024.
